Ambar is one of Spain’s most historic and beloved breweries, founded in Zaragoza in 1900. Known for its dedication to craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and a bold spirit of innovation, the brand has built a diverse range of beers that appeal to both traditional drinkers and adventurous palates. As Ambar continues to grow and evolve, the company sought a refreshed visual identity for its entire packaging range. One that could celebrate its heritage while presenting a unified, contemporary image.
Our studio was commissioned to redesign the packaging across Ambar’s full portfolio, including its classic lagers, specialty brews, limited editions, and craft-inspired varieties. The goal was to establish a cohesive visual system that could bring clarity to the line-up, elevate shelf presence, and reinforce Ambar’s identity as a modern brewery with deep roots.
We created a design framework that highlights the brand’s iconic red while introducing a cleaner, more structured layout. Typography was carefully refined to balance tradition and modernity, ensuring legibility and consistency across all formats. Each beer variety received a unique color accent and graphic elements, allowing consumers to quickly identify their favorite Ambar beer while maintaining strong brand unity.
The result is a packaging system that feels both timeless and fresh—one that honors Ambar’s rich legacy while positioning the brand confidently for the future. This redesign strengthens Ambar’s presence in the market and enhances the consumer experience from the first glance to the final pour.
